I thought not glitching the comics code seal was ironic. All the other logos glitched giving hints of the multiverse we are about to enter, as Caroline pointed out so well. The Comics Code seal does not glitch because it stands in an alternate universe that no longer exists (thankfully), and that will not be entered in this movie. Just a thought.
Re: the comics code logo. I do remember my parents checking for it growing up. Mad magazine did not have the seal (because it was a “magazine” – see https://www.cbr.com/comic-book-magazines-difference-comics-code-authority/) so it never came in the house.
